Why the ISFP is the embodiment of cottagecore

Cottagecore, if you don't know, is an idealized version of a rustic cozy cottage in the countryside. It usually involves flowers, honey, white dresses, the forest, and porch swings. Search up "cottagecore aesthetic" and you will find lots of aesthetically pleasing photos.

I recently came to a realization that the Myers-Briggs personality type ISFP is basically the embodiment of cottagecore. Let's break this down.

Introverted

The I of ISFP stands for Introverted, which means that ISFPs get their energy from time alone rather than time with others. This may be the most obvious cottagecore-esque factor. It's not that an extrovert can't live in a cottage, but cottagecore gives me Introverted vibes because there's nobody else around and it's a very quiet vibe.

Sensing

Sensing, or Observant, types are known for being focused on the present, and what is going on in the moment. They live for the simplicity of life. This is definitely true about the cottagecore lifestyle, which is all about taking it easy and simple; living in the moment.

Feeling

This one's kind of a toss-up. Thinking or Feeling doesn't really have anything to do with cottagecore, but I get more feeling vibes than thinking vibes when it comes to the cottagecore aesthetic. Part of the lifestyle seems kind of romantic, don't you think? I just think this fits in with the cottagecore lifestyle.

Prospecting

Prospecting folks find it easy to go with the flow. They may not be as skilled at getting work done, but they are very flexible and easygoing. This is definitely true about the cottagecore lifestyle. You don't need to worry about what's going on in the future. You can just go with the flow and see where life takes you.
